The Newman Greenies walloped the host Reed Olympians football team by a score of 41-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenies face the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) in a 2A District 10 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Newman will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Cajuns enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 28-7 league loss to South Plaquemines (Buras, LA).

The Olympians (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against King Charter (New Orleans, LA). The Jaguar enter the 2A District 10 challenge with a 1-5 record.
