October 24, 2024: New Bedford, MA 02740 The Brockton Boxers football squad scored 26 points and limited the host New Bedford Whalers to 6 in the Boxers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Boxers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Durfee for a non-league test on Saturday, November 2. Brockton will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, New Bedford drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Whalers host Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, October 31. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-5. Dartmouth lost 20-0 in their recent non-league test against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA)
