Arizona High School Flag Football - Mesquite smashes Paradise Honors

October 24, 2024: Surprise, AZ 85388

The Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) flag football trounced the host Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ), 35-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Scottsdale Christian Academy for a 4A Desert Sky outing on Monday, October 28. Mesquite will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 28-0 league win over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.

With the defeat, Paradise Honors drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Lions in a 4A West Valley outing on Tuesday, October 29. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 5-7. St. John Paul II Catholic won 24-6 in their recent non-league outing against Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ)
