North Carolina High School Football - Ashley tops Topsail
October 24, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Topsail Pirates to 6 in the Screaming Eagle league triumph on Thursday.
The Screaming Eagle now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Brunswick for a test on Wednesday, October 30. Ashley will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 32-0 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Topsail drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Laney (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 31. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 9-0. Laney won 32-0 in their recent non-league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
