October 24, 2024: Sanford, NC 27330 Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 24-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Scotland improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Fighting Scots host Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Richmond won 33-11 in their recent non-league battle against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lee for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. Lee County will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-6.
