North Carolina High School Football - Maiden can't hold off Lincolnton
October 24, 2024: Lincolnton, NC 28092 Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC), 23-16 in a league battle.
With the win, Lincolnton improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Rebels in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 3-5. West Lincoln lost 22-16 in their recent non-league battle against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
The Blue Devils now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Newton-Conover for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 30. Maiden will play a Red Devils team coming off a 29-8 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-3.
