October 24, 2024: Cameron, NC 28326 Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), 48-7 in a non-league contest.
The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Pinecrest crushed Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 31-6, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Cavaliers battle the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 31. Southern Lee will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 24-6 non-league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
