The Mt. Olive Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Tri-City Tornadoes to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 10-20 record. They play next when they travel to Greenfield/Northwestern for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 29. Mt. Olive will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 17-17.

With the loss, Tri-City drops to 3-24 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Monday, October 28. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 20-15. Pleasant Plains lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Rochester (Rochester, IL)
