October 24, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70117 Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team smash the visiting Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), 48-0 in a league match.
The Bobcats (5-2) will now prepare for their match against McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles come into the 4A District 10 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, McDonogh 35 walloped Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 42-26, in a league battle.
The Commodores now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Eleanor McMain for a 4A District 10 test on Saturday, November 1. Abramson will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-0 non-league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-8.
