Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX) and the visiting Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX), saw Strake Jesuit's football team prevail over Alief Taylor by a final score of 49-28.

With the win, Strake Jesuit advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Fighting Crusaders travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to encounter the Bears in a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Thursday, October 30. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 1-7. Alief Hastings lost 23-0 in their recent league contest against Foster (Richmond, TX)

Coming up next, the Lions battle the George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 contest, on Friday, October 31. Alief Taylor will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 64-42 league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX).
