October 24, 2025: Braintree, MA 02184 The Archbishop Williams Bishops were victorious over the visiting Bishop Stang Spartans football team by a score of 30-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Bishops now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cathedral for a non-league outing on Friday, October 31. Archbishop Williams will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 58-22 non-league loss to Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Bishop Stang drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA) to face the Cardinals in a Catholic Central game on Thursday, October 30. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 0-7. Cardinal Spellman lost 30-6 in their recent league game against Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA)
