The Ascension Christian football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting White Castle Bulldogs to 12 in the league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John for a 1A District 8 test on Thursday, October 30. Ascension Christian will face a Eagles team coming off a 49-14 league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A District 8 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Ascension Catholic toppled North Iberville (Rosedale, LA), 50-28, in a league challenge.
