Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR), 16-10 in a league battle.

With the win, Sandy improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Central Catholic (Portland, OR) to meet the Rams in a 6A Mt. Hood match on Friday, October 31. The Rams come into the match with a record of 6-2. Central Catholic lost 26-6 in their recent league match against Nelson (Happy Valley, OR)

Coming up next, the Bruins meet the Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge, on Friday, October 31. Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 41-37 league loss to Clackamas (Clackamas, OR).
