October 24, 2025: Iola, TX 77861 The Iola Bulldogs got by the visiting Burton Panthers football team by a score of 37-36 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Bartlett Bulldogs (Bartlett, TX) in a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 challenge, on Friday, November 7. Iola will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 38-13 league win over Milano (Milano, TX).
The Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Granger (Granger, TX). The Lions come into the 2A-2 Region IV District 13 test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Granger tipped Somerville (Somerville, TX), 58-14, in a league test.
