The Vincent Memorial Scots football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Calipatria Hornets to 0 in the Scots league triumph on Friday.

The Scots now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Calexico for a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. Vincent Memorial will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-14 league loss to Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Eagles enter the Desert challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Southwest EC was ripped by Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA), 34-6, in a league challenge.
