In Friday's league match, the visiting Desert View Jaguars football squad scored a decisive 70-35 triumph over the Cienega Bobcats.

The Jaguars (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros come into the 5A Southern match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Flowing Wells routed Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ), 43-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) in a 5A Southern match, on Friday, October 31. Cienega will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Rams come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 28-9 league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
