The Clay County Bulldogs walloped the host Innovation Academy Sentinels football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Jo Byrns Red Devils (Cedar Hill, TN) in a 1A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Clay County will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 15-7 non-league loss to Whitwell (Whitwell, TN).

The Sentinels (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Boiling Springs (Red Boiling Springs, TN). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region 4 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Red Boiling Springs was overwhelmed by Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN), 42-0, in a non-league test.
