In Friday's league match, the visiting Cotulla Cowboys football squad scored a decisive 62-0 triumph over the Young Men's Leadership Academy .

The Cowboys (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Wolves come into the 3A-2 Region IV District 15 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Dilley routed Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX), 21-14, in a league battle.

The now have a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Poth for a 3A-2 Region IV District 15 battle on Friday, October 31. Young Men's Leadership Academy will play a Pirates team coming off a 64-0 league win over Natalia (Natalia, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.
