The Woodbridge Raiders football team (Bridgeville, DE), was nudged 20-16 in Friday's league contest with the host Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE)

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Indian River got by Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE), 43-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders encounter the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) in a 2A District 3 bout, on Friday, October 31. Woodbridge will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 28-7 league win over Laurel (Laurel, DE).
