The Highland Hawks football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Desert Ridge Jaguars to 0 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Mountain for a 6A East Valley challenge on Thursday, October 30. Highland will face a Mountain Lions team coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 7-1.

The Jaguars (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Toros enter the 6A East Valley challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View bounced ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 24-22, in a non-league challenge.
