Fletcher Senators (Neptune Beach, FL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host First Coast Buccaneers (Jacksonville, FL), 24-21 in a league test.

The Senators now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. Fletcher will meet a Conquerors squad coming off a 48-0 league win over KIPP Bold City (Jacksonville, FL). The Conquerors record now stands at 5-4.

The Buccaneers (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville, FL). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Andrew Jackson was nipped by Baldwin (Baldwin, FL), 41-8, in a league test.
