Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), 49-35 in a league battle.

With the win, Greater Atlanta Christian advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Spartans host Chestatee (Gainesville, GA) to play the War Eagles in a AAA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 31. The War Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Chestatee lost 35-14 in their recent league battle against White County (Cleveland, GA)

The Dragons now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lumpkin County for a AAA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 31. Pickens will play a Indians team coming off a 31-14 league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 5-4.
