October 24, 2025: Lake Charles, LA 70601 In Friday's league match, the host Hamilton Christian Warriors football squad scored a decisive 49-14 triumph over the Oberlin Tigers.
The Warriors (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Panthers come into the 1A District 4 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Merryville was routed by Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA), 48-14, in a league match.
Next up, the Tigers play the Basile Bearcats (Basile, LA) in a 1A District 4 battle, on Thursday, October 30. Oberlin will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 41-7 league win over Elton (Elton, LA).
