Arizona High School Football - Shadow Ridge bested by Higley

The Higley Knights football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Shadow Ridge Stallions to 24 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williams Field for a 6A Central challenge on Friday, October 31. Higley will face a Black Hawks team coming off a 49-35 league win over Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 6-2.

The Stallions (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Ridge lost by Centennial (Peoria, AZ), 55-7, in a league challenge.
