Virginia High School Football - J.R. Tucker nips John Marshall
October 24, 2025: Henrico, VA 23294 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) and the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), witnessed J.R. Tucker's football squad edge John Marshall by a tally of 7-0.
The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats enter the Colonial contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Deep Run was nudged by Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA), 31-28, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Justices battle the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 31. John Marshall will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 50-0 league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA).
