California High School Football - Mater Dei wallops JSerra Catholic
October 24, 2025: Santa Ana, CA 92707 The Mater Dei Monarchs football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting JSerra Catholic Lions to 7 in the Monarchs league triumph on Friday.
The Monarchs now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John Bosco for a Trinity test on Friday, October 31. Mater Dei will meet a Braves squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Servite (Anaheim, CA). The Braves record now stands at 9-0.
With the defeat, JSerra Catholic drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) to meet the Eagles in a Trinity test on Friday, October 31. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-3. Santa Margarita won 28-7 in their recent league test against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA)
