The Lamesa Tornadoes walloped the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets football squad by a margin of 49-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Tornadoes now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brownfield for a 3A-1 Region I District 2 outing on Friday, October 31. Lamesa will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 54-12 league loss to Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 0-8.
