In Friday's league game, the Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) football team were victorious over the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA), by a score of 47-28.

In their next game, the Wampus Cats face the Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Friday, October 31. Leesville will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 3-5 record after their 51-22 league loss to Iowa (Iowa, LA).
