In Friday's league match, the host Los Fresnos Falcons football squad scored a good 30-7 victory over the Veterans Memorial Chargers.

The Falcons (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals enter the 6A Region IV District 32 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Harlingen thwarted Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 35-13, in a league battle.

The Chargers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host San Benito for a 6A Region IV District 32 battle on Friday, October 31. Veterans Memorial will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 42-25 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-7.
