Oregon High School Football - Philomath crushed by Marist
October 24, 2025: Eugene, OR 97401 Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR), 49-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Marist improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Spartans host Junction City (Junction City, OR) to play the Tigers in a 4A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 31. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Junction City won 26-0 in their recent league battle against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR)
The Warriors now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Sweet Home for a 4A Special District 3 battle on Friday, October 31. Philomath will play a Huskies team coming off a 48-7 league win over Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 6-2.
