The Pontotoc Warriors football team (Pontotoc, MS), dropped 20-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS)

With the win, New Hope advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Trojans host West Point (West Point, MS) to confront the Green Wave in a 5A Region 1 contest on Friday, October 31. The Green Wave enter the contest with a record of 8-0. West Point won 51-7 in their recent league contest against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS)

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) in a 5A Region 1 contest, on Friday, October 31. Pontotoc will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 27-14 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS).
