The Palma Chieftains football squad scored 37 points and limited the host North Salinas Vikings to 14 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now hold a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Soquel for a Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge on Friday, October 31. Palma will face a Knights team coming off a 41-7 league win over Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-0.

The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Alisal (Salinas, CA). The Trojans go into the Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Alisal lost by Carmel (Carmel, CA), 42-28, in a league challenge.
