In Friday's league match, the host Platt Panthers football squad scored a good 41-10 triumph over the Simsbury Trojans.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights come into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Southington defeated Manchester (Manchester, CT), 28-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans meet the Windsor Warriors (Windsor, CT) in a Central Connecticut - Tier 2 match, on Friday, October 31. Simsbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
