The Wissahickon Trojans walloped the visiting Springfield Township Spartans football team by a score of 56-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a non-league outing on Friday, October 31. Wissahickon will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 17-13 league loss to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Springfield Township drops to 4-5 on the campaign.
