California High School Football - California sneaks past Monte Vista
October 24, 2025: Danville, CA 94526 The California Grizzlies football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Monte Vista Mustangs to 14 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to De La Salle for a test on Thursday, October 30. California will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 22-14 league win over San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Monte Vista drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA) to meet the Dons in a test on Friday, October 31. The Dons come into the test with a record of 2-5. Amador Valley lost 21-6 in their recent league test against De La Salle (Concord, CA)
