California High School Football - Mt. Pleasant thwarted by Yerba Buena
October 24, 2025: San Jose, CA 95127 Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 27-7 in a league battle.
With the triumph, Yerba Buena upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Aztec Warriors host Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to meet the Panthers in a test on Thursday, October 30. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Prospect lost 32-14 in their recent league test against San Jose (San Jose, CA)
With the defeat, Mt. Pleasant moves to 1-6 on the season. The Cardinals host James Lick (San Jose, CA) to play the Comets in a challenge on Thursday, October 30. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. James Lick won 41-0 in their recent league challenge against Independence (San Jose, CA)
