Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 21-10 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Saint Francis advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to play the Fightin' Irish in a battle on Friday, October 31. The Fightin' Irish go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory lost 26-0 in their recent league battle against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a match on Friday, November 7.
