October 24, 2025: Double Springs, AL 35553 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) and the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL), observed Winston County's volleyball team top Pleasant Valley by a count of 3-1.
The Yellowjackets (28-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 27-11 record. In their last battle, Mars Hill Bible achieved victory over Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now own a 32-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Samson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 29. Pleasant Valley will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Highland Home (Highland Home, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 17-11.
