October 25, 2022: Los Angeles, CA 90033 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA), saw Roosevelt's volleyball squad beat Dr. Maya Angelou Community by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Rough Riders travel to Legacy (South Gate, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Legacy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Gate (South Gate, CA)
The Phoenix now own a 8-5 record.
