The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Amarillo trounced Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 52-33, in a non-league challenge.
The Westerners now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rider for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 2. Lubbock will meet a Raiders team coming off a 28-27 non-league loss to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
