Connecticut High School Soccer - Suffield Academy knocks off Frederick Gunn
October 25, 2023: Suffield, CT 06078 Suffield Academy Tigers (Suffield, CT) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Williston Northampton Wildcats (Easthampton, MA) in a NEPSAC Freelance challenge, on Friday, October 27. Suffield Academy will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA).
The Highlanders now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Salisbury School for a NEPSAC Freelance challenge on Saturday, October 28. Frederick Gunn will face a Crimson Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Crimson Knights record now stands at 5-3.
