October 25, 2023: Brandywine, MD 20613 Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers confront the Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 28. Lackey will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 5-0 league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD).
The Yellowjackets now possess a 3-7 record.
