Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 48-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Atkins improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Camels host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to play the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A battle on Friday, November 1. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Rockingham County lost 21-7 in their recent league battle against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)

The Bison now have a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A battle on Friday, November 1. High Point Central will play a Storm team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 3-6.
