California High School Football - Pomona loses to Azusa
October 25, 2024: Azusa, CA 91702 Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA), 19-3 in a league battle.
With the win, Azusa advances its record to 3-6 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Nogales (La Puente, CA) to play the Nobles in a Montview battle on Thursday, October 31. The Nobles go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Nogales won 40-6 in their recent league battle against Ontario (Ontario, CA)
The Red Devils now possess a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson for a Montview contest on Friday, November 1. Pomona will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-12 league win over Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.
