The Belton Tigers got by the host Rudder Rangers football team by a score of 38-34 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Belton will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 50-3 league loss to University (Waco, TX).

The Rangers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A-2 Region III District 10 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Ellison was edged by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 50-28, in a league challenge.
