The Boles Hornets edged the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles football team by a score of 27-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Boles will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 56-30 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX).

The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels enter the 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge with a 6-2 record.
