Louisiana High School Football - Riverside Academy nudges Central Catholic
October 25, 2024: Morgan City, LA 70380 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the host Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), witnessed Riverside Academy's football squad edge Central Catholic by a tally of 18-15.
The Rebels (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Varnado (Angie, LA). The Wildcats enter the 1A District 10 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Varnado got by Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA), 58-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Jeanerette Tigers (Jeanerette, LA) in a 1A District 7 contest, on Friday, November 1. Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 29-12 league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).
