The Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) football knocked off the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), 23-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Dons now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hollywood for a East Valley outing on Friday, November 1. Verdugo Hills will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 56-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 9-0.

With the defeat, Chavez drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a East Valley outing on Friday, November 1. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Arleta lost 22-15 in their recent league outing against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)
