October 25, 2024: Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150 Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Red Boiling Springs, TN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN), 31-24 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Red Boiling Springs advances its record to 3-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN) to play the Red Devils in a 1A Region 4 battle on Friday, November 1. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 2-7. Jo Byrns lost 53-35 in their recent non-league bout against Houston County (Erin, TN)
The Vikings/Viqueens now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Watertown for a 3A Region 4 bout on Friday, November 1. Community will encounter a Purple Tigers team coming off a 49-7 non-league loss to Macon County (Lafayette, TN). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
