October 25, 2024: Southland, TX 79364 The Southland Eagles football squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting Dawson Dragons to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Klondike for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, November 1. Southland will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 81-0 league win over Wilson (Wilson, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Dawson drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Dragons host Sands (Ackerly, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, November 1. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 6-2. Sands won 56-42 in their recent league test against Loop (Loop, TX)
